How to prepare
- Avoid applying creams, lotions, or self-tanners to the area before treatment
- Avoid excessive sun exposure in the days prior
- Let us know if you have any history of skin sensitivity or keloid scarring
After your treatment
- Keep the area clean and dry for 24 hours
- Avoid touching or picking the treated area
- Use a healing ointment like Vaseline or Aquaphor on the area daily to help it heal
- Avoid hot tubs, saunas, or swimming for 48 hours
- Allow any scabbing to heal naturally
