How to prepare
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before treatment
- Shave the chin area 24 hours before your session
- Discontinue retinoids or any actives/exfoliants 3 days before
- Don’t wax or pluck for 3 to 4 weeks leading up to your session
- Share any medication or skin concerns with your technician
After your treatment
- Skip hot showers, facials, or workouts for 48 hours
- Gently exfoliate after 3 days to encourage shedding
- Avoid shaving for 4 days; after that, you may shave as needed
- Avoid AHAs, BHAs, and retinol-based products for 4 days
- Always apply SPF, even on cloudy days
- Use aloe vera or a cool compress to soothe sensitivity
