How it works

We offer two expertly formulated options:
AlumierMD BHA 20 — A 20% salicylic acid peel that penetrates deep into pores to clear acne, reduce oil, and calm inflammation. Best for active breakouts and congestion.
AlumierMD Glow Peel — A customizable peel with lactic acid, salicylic acid, and resorcinol to improve tone, texture, and pigmentation. Ideal for post-acne marks, uneven tone, or dull, bumpy skin.
Your skin specialist will assess your skin and choose the best peel—or alternate between both depending on your treatment plan.

What to expect

Each session begins with a thorough cleanse and skin assessment. The peel is applied in layers and may cause a mild warmth or tingling. You might experience light flaking or dryness over 2–5 days. Most clients notice smoother, clearer skin within the first week.
We recommend 3 to 6 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, for best results.

How to prepare

Discontinue retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and harsh exfoliants 7 days prior
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 2 weeks prior
No waxing, shaving, or harsh treatments before your appointment
Let us know about any prescriptions, medical changes or active skin concerns

After your treatment

Expect light peeling or flaking—do not pick or exfoliate
Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids, scrubs) for 14 days
Stay out of direct sun and wear SPF daily
Use only gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizers
No workouts, hot showers, heat, saunas or sweating for 24–48 hours
Avoid laser hair removal, photofacials, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels for 14 days
