How to prepare
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning (natural or artificial) for 2 weeks before your session
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours in advance
- Don’t wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams
- Skip lotions, oils, or deodorants on the day of treatment. We have baby wipes just in case!
- Let us know about any existing or new medications or skin sensitivities
After your treatment
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, and intense workouts for 48 hours.
- After 3 days, you can begin to exfoliate treated areas.
- Skip shaving for the first 4 days; after that, you may shave as needed.
- Avoid using lotions with AHAs or BHAs (like glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid) for the first 4 days.
- Wear SPF if your arms will be exposed to sunlight
- You’re welcome to use aloe vera or a cool compress to soothe any sensitivity.
